J. Michael L. Findlan ’72

Joseph Michael Leo Findlan, a resident of New Richmond, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the age of 72. A 1972 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, he was the husband of 35 years to Donise “Doni” Findlan (nee Conley), whom he married in 1981. He was the father of Meredith (Randy) Lindsey and Greg (Brianne) Findlan. They blessed him with seven grandchildren: Adam (Abby) Lindsey, Charlie (Taylor) Lindsey, Jackson Findlan, Lillian Findlan, Serra Lindsey, Madelyn Findlan, and Eden Lindsey, and one great-grandchild Isla Lindsey. He was also the brother to: Patrick and Sandi Findlan and family, Corbin and Nancy Findlan and family, Shane and Sheryl Findlan and family, Gerard and and Ann Findlan, and the late Thomas Findlan and Jenny Findlan and family.

A memorial gathering for Joseph will be held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home (Amelia), on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM until time of services at 4:00 PM.
