He is survived by his wife, Sue Fullerton; children: Mark and wife Sara Fullerton, Mike Fullerton and wife Sarah Swan, Kimberly and husband Brandon Walker and Katie and husband Cameron Cestaro; grandchildren Brydon, Savana, Jackson, Bennett, Joel, Colton, Noah, Brady, Grace, Max and Evie; brother Mark and wife Monica Fullerton; and brother in-law Nicholas Mcphee. He is predeceased by mother and father Janet and Harry Fullerton and sister Valerie McPhee.

Harry was born on May 11, 1948, in Bath, Maine, to Harry and Janet Fullerton. He was a proud graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, class of ’71, and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. In recent years, he loved catching up with alumni friends who shared similar memorable experiences with him.

He met his wife, Sue, in 1971. They married shortly after and had 4 children together. Harry was an incredibly supportive father who thoroughly enjoyed attending any activities his children participated in. His devotion then carried through to his grandchildren, where you could often see him attending baseball games, dance recitals, band competitions and more.

Through his children, Harry was a devoted member of the community, coaching youth sports in Deering Center, director of the Portland Babe Ruth League, member of the Deering High School Booster Club, and proud member of the DHS football chains group. He enjoyed Coffee Club with his close friends at Pompeo’s and was a long-time member of the Riverside Golf Course.

He deeply enjoyed his annual Cape trips with the Construction League and golf league on Thursday nights.

Harry worked in various positions until finding his career at Bracket Machine. He worked there 30 years, for close friend Herb Howard, and thought of the whole crew, especially Joan Martel, as family.

Harry will be missed by so many people. His uncanny ‘gift of gab’ made amazing connections with so many, who he loved and cherished.

A Service celebrating Harry’s life will be held 5 Pm Friday September 29, 2023 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Avenue, with visitation from 3 PM until time of service.
