🔧⚓ Marine Engineering Technology major Raul Medina-Charley ’26 got a close-up look at what keeps The CAT moving at high speed across the Gulf of Maine.

During his cadet shipping experience, Raul worked alongside the engineering crew, gaining real-world exposure to the complex ...systems that power The CAT high-speed car between Bar Harbor, ME and Yarmouth, NS.

This opportunity helps him build the technical knowledge and problem-solving skills that will prepare him for a future in maritime engineering.

Special thanks to Bay Ferries for providing our engineering and deck students access to world-class training experiences.
