Maggie earned her B.S. in Power Engineering Technology in 2018 from Maine Maritime Academy. During her time at MMA, she played basketball and soccer while maintaining Dean’s List each semester. Maggie worked in the Provost’s Office, was a Teacher’s Assistant for HVAC, and was a tutor for Technical Calculus I and II, HVAC, and Business Calculus. Maggie first enrolled in International Business & Logistics but switched majors after her first semester. Since her previous career choices were not geared towards engineering, she worked with her father that summer as an independent contractor assistant to help better her chances at finding a good co-op after her second year.

Maggie took her first co-op opportunity in the summer of 2016 In Rowan County, North Carolina, with Southern Power Company. The following summer Maggie took her second co-op in Autauga County, Alabama. Maggie fell in love with Southern Power Company based off her experiences during these two summers. Immediately after graduation she took a fulltime job with Southern Power Company in Blue Earth County, Minnesota, and has since been relocated to Lee County, Alabama.

In her free time, Maggie enjoys going to the gym and doing a workout routine consisting of cardio, weightlifting, and yoga. Her passion for physical fitness has encouraged her to study to get her personal trainer and yoga instructor certificates.
