Cristin earned her B.S. in Marine Science and Small Vessel Operations from Maine Maritime in 2018. While at MMA, Cristin was class president, a resident assistant, a senator in the Student Government Association, and involved in Yearbook Committee. After her junior year, Cristin was awarded a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) internship at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS). This internship was extremely useful in Cristin’s later decision to continue her education in a Master’s of Science program at VIMS after graduating from MMA. Cristin is currently finishing her degree at VIMS and will graduate in May 2021.
