Coronado Hickman graduated from Maine Maritime Academy in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation Operations. She is 26 years old and currently resides in Houston, Texas. After graduating, Coronado sailed deep sea on a container ship and worked on the Crowley Ocean Class DP wire tugs. She then transferred to their ATB (Articulated Tug and Barge) petroleum division, where she has worked her way up from Utility to Chief Mate. She now sails as Chief Mate for Crowley Petroleum Services on one of their 650 class ATBs, the ATB Pride/Barge 650-7.

Coronado is currently on maternity leave, as she just had a beautiful baby girl named Catalina. Coronado will be returning to work in a few months where she hopes to continue working her way up the ranks and one day sail as Captain.
