Great progress is being made! We are half way through the planking process and only have 28 more planks to go on the vessel. With the shipwrights in full swing, we are getting two to three planks on every day. At this pace, we will be in a good position to have the vessel fully planked by the end of the month. We plan to have Bowdoin ready for launch by high tide on June 18.

At the same time, we are also working to replace the concrete ballast, filing the frame bays with new concrete and lead weight to match what we removed.

Next week, Geno Scalzo will start the caulking process.
