Maine Maritime Academy

Dedicated to Captain Theron Kropp. He was my mentor and “life counselor” when I attended MMA. He is the person primarily responsible for shaping me as a young man and providing the guidance and support I needed to become a successful Marine Corps Officer and pilot. Without the sit down sessions in his office, I would have had to the learn things the hard way. He developed me as a leader and as a person in a very short period of time. I will forever remember the smell of his pipe and the sound of his voice speaking to me and more importantly, listening to me. Thank you Captain for being there for so many people and defining what leadership is. Thank you for your service.
