I am inspired by my mother. She defines resilience, strong will, and courage, even when no one else has any. She has always pushed me to do better, but to not forget what is important. As a nurse, she taught me and my siblings to value service over self. As a mother, she taught us to always stand up for what we believe in, even if it meant taking the harder route, or being scrutinized for our beliefs. My mother is and always will be our family rock, providing unwavering support, a fierce strength, and a compassionate heart.
