This woman has inspired me by who she is day in and day out. My mother is one of the most kindhearted women out there. Even when coming from a rough day at work she always has a smile on her face and leaves her frustrations at work. When life gets a little too overwhelming at times she steps back keeps her composure and takes the challenge head-on. The generosity my mother has is like no other, always giving and expecting nothing in return. She speaks with her heart and not with her emotions. She inspires me by who she is today from what she came from as a kid growing up. My mom ensures that everyone that steps foot into our home feels welcomed and cared for. Her character speaks volumes for what she has done for me as well as my older sister, continuously putting us first and disregarding her own self just to see us smile. In 2012, when I was twelve years old my cousin, who was a junior in high school, had moved into our home. I thought it was so cool having him living with us but little did I know what had actually happened. He was kicked out of his house and was wandering down the road when my mother passed by and realized what had happened. Without a second thought, she stopped and invited him into our home. From that moment on he was treated as if he was one of her own. I was too young at the time to completely understand what she actually did but looking back now I am truly in awe and inspired to be as compassionate and loving as the woman she is today. I am very thankful to have the mother that I do. She is one in a million.
