Lexi stepped into a difficult role this year as an Assistant Coach for the sailing team, taking on a challenge that even I wasn’t sure how to handle. She has been an incredible asset to the program, bringing a wealth of knowledge and practical experience, as well as being a wonderful mentor for the women on our team. Her level-headedness and prior industry experience make her a great ally for all. She has managed to take on so much outside of the Regiment and classes yet she still holds herself to high academic standards. It’s rare that I am comfortable pointing to someone as exemplary, but Lexi is a model student, coach, sailor, mentor, and Mariner.
