Bio
Sadie Alley Ferreira is an Associate Professor of Engineering at the Harold Alfond School of Engineering at Maine Maritime Academy. She is the program coordinator for the Power Engineering Technology program, which focuses on shoreside power generation using both renewable and traditional energy sources. Professor Ferreira’s industrial experience includes project management roles in power plant construction, and the maintenance and reliability of power generation and paper making assets. She holds a 3rd class stationary steam license from the State of Maine. Professor Ferreira earned a BS in Power Engineering Technology from Maine Maritime Academy and a Master of Education degree from Husson University.
