We’re excited to invite you to join us on the beautiful campus of Maine Maritime Academy for your reunion. This summer, we welcome you to revisit the village of Castine, learn firsthand the changes in programming and upgrades in facilities at MMA, reminisce about your time here, rekindle old friendships, and pay homage to your classmates who have passed.

The Alumni Office has been working hard to create an enjoyable and informative experience for you and your family. Scheduled events include an MMA Today presentation, a tour of Castine Harbor, an old-fashioned lobster feed and much more! During unscheduled time, walk Castine’s quiet streets, golf at the local course, or have a cup of coffee at the Waypoint.

What does the meal package include?

The meal package includes all food and non-alcoholic beverages at Day One’s dinner, Day Two’s breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Day Three’s breakfast.

What’s included in the room fee?

Two nights lodging in Leavitt Hall’s guest rooms. These rooms have been renovated to hotel rooms – these are not the dorm rooms you may remember. There are a limited number of double rooms. The assignment of double rooms will be made on a first-to-register basis, and to only classmates staying for two or more nights, with their spouse or guest. Please remember that guest rooms are not air-conditioned, but fans are available. Space is limited so call soon to reserve!

Are there rooms available in Castine during Reunion?

A limited number of rooms in the local inns. More specific information can be found on The Castine Area webpage of our website including contact information to local lodging.

What if I register and then can’t come?

We are happy to offer refunds up until up to 15 days prior to reunion.

Can I register when I get there?

We are happy to have you join your classmates for any part of the reunion, but please note that without any notice of your intention to attend, food and/or overnight accommodations may not be available.

Can I bring my pet?

Only service animals are welcome.

Can I smoke on campus?

No, you may not smoke anywhere on campus. MMA is a smoke- and tobacco-free campus.

I have special medical or mobility needs—is it practical for me to stay in Leavitt Hall?

Yes! Leavitt Hall has ramps and an elevator. To communicate specific medical or mobility needs, contact Karen or Jeff prior to 15 days prior to start of reunion.

Can I park my RV / moor my boat at MMA? Yes!

Please appreciate the need for us to make prior arrangements for RV’s and boats. Call Karen or Jeff to make these arrangements.

What are green fees at the Castine Golf Course?

Greens fees: $40 / 9 holes $60 / 18 holes5
Motorized Cart: $15 per seat/ 9 holes $20 per seat / 18 holes

When is the bookstore open?

The Academy bookstore is open Monday through Friday, 8 am – 3 pm.
