Scott A. Kilian ’10

Scott Andrew Kilian, 29, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Sondra Skipper Kilian, died suddenly at home on Sunday, October 15, 2017.

Scott was born October 29, 1987 in Morristown, New Jersey, son of Ann McCreary Kilian and the late Mark H. Kilian. He graduated from New Providence High School, NJ and obtained a BS in Marine Transportation Operations from Maine Maritime Academy. Scott was employed as a Chief Mate with U.S Shipping as a United States Merchant Marine. Scott was an avid boater and sailor and attended Seacoast Church Mount Pleasant.

He is survived by his wife, Sondra and son, Sullivan James Kilian of Mt. Pleasant, SC; mother, Ann Kilian of New Providence, NJ and Skaneateles, NY; father and mother-in-law, Walter and Catherine Skipper of Huger, SC; brother and sisters-in-law, Wyatt and Natalie Skipper of Huger, SC and Savannah Skipper Bonnette (Michael) of Summerville, SC. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark and a sister, Andrea Duncan Kilian.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, October 29th at the Daniel Island Marina & Boat Club. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC.
