Enrollment Ambassador Program

Maine Maritime Academy is proud to introduce the newly rebranded Enrollment Ambassador Program (formerly known as the Blue and Gold Ambassador Program), a renewed effort to engage our alumni community in shaping the future of MMA.

At its core, the program connects prospective students with those who know MMA best—our graduates. Through their real-world experiences, alumni bring to life the value of a Maine Maritime education, offering authentic insight into the opportunities, challenges, and career pathways that define the Mariner journey.

The Enrollment Ambassador Program provides a meaningful way for alumni to give back by supporting recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts. Volunteers can contribute in a variety of ways, from sharing written or video testimonials and personal stories, to connecting directly with prospective and admitted students through outreach and encouragement.

This initiative reflects one of the most impactful gifts alumni can offer: their lived experience. By sharing what made their time at MMA meaningful and how it prepared them for life beyond Castine, ambassadors help inspire and guide the next generation of Mariners.

We invite our alumni to be part of this important work—help us identify, inspire, and welcome future Mariners today.
