Vane Brothers Leadership Visits Campus

IN MARCH, VANE BROTHERS PRESIDENT AND CEO C. Duff Hughes and Vice President of Operations Captain Rick Iuliucci visited Castine to meet the inaugural cohort of Vane Brothers Fellows—Lance Kennedy, Jonah Densmore, and William Spaulding—along with Academy leadership.

The Vane Brothers Fellowship Program supports students pursuing degrees in Vessel Operations and Technology with $10,000 of funding per year for three years and no employment commitment after graduation.

The Vane Brothers leadership believes it is in their interest to cultivate a pipeline of talent by providing financial assistance to the next generation of tug operators.
