STATE OF MAINE in the News

The long-awaited arrival of STATE OF MAINE to its home port of Castine received a great deal of coverage in the press. The Academy was pleased to host two Portland Press Herald reporters who were embedded on the vessel for four nights for the final leg of Summer Sea Term. The resulting feature can be found here:

STATE OF MAINE also received some international coverage. James Borton, a distinguished journalist and senior fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, wrote an article about the training capabilities of the new ship.
