Daniel Norton ’77 Recognized for Fleet Engineering

Daniel T. Norton, Military Sealift Command Engineering Technical Director, received the 2019 Claud A. Jones Award for Fleet Engineering at the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) 2019 Fleet Maintenance and Modernization Symposium held in San Diego in August.

I remember Dan as a hard-nosed wrestler sweating off pounds in the sauna at MMA. He was hard as nails then, and doesn’t seem to have softened up one bit.
