Ashley Genest earned her B.S. in International Business and Logistics from Maine Maritime Academy in 2014. While there, she was named a Scheel Scholar Award recipient. After graduation, she began her career at General Dynamics – Bath Iron Works as a Buyer. After getting married in 2015, she started at Wunderlich-Malec Engineering in Winslow, ME also as a Buyer. She is still currently at Wunderlich-Malec working as the Purchasing Manager. Ashley and her husband, Justin (Class of 2012) live in Sidney, ME with their two daughters, Emma (7) and Ella (4). Together they enjoy spending time outside with their 2 dogs & 6 goats. They stay busy with their daughters’ dance & karate schedules and building their business, Genest Welding & Fabrication.
