Thompson School of Marine Transportation offers five majors. The Marine Transportation Operations major and Vessel Operations and Technology major offer a Bachelor of Science degree. The Small Vessel Operations major offers an Associate of Science degree. The Small Craft Design and Small Craft Systems majors offer an Associate of Science degree, and require students to spend one year at the Castine campus of Maine Maritime Academy and one year in residence at The Landing School of Boat Building and Design in Kennebunkport, Maine.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/undergraduate-catalog\/curricula\/marine-transportation-operations\/\">Marine Transportation Operations<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/undergraduate-catalog\/curricula\/vessel-operations-and-technology\/\">Vessel Operations and Technology<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/undergraduate-catalog\/curricula\/maritime-management-200-ton-limited-license\/\">Maritime Management and 200 Ton Limited License*<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/undergraduate-catalog\/curricula\/small-vessel-operations\/\">Small Vessel Operations<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/undergraduate-catalog\/curricula\/small-craft-design\/\">Small Craft Design<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/undergraduate-catalog\/curricula\/small-craft-systems\/\">Small Craft Systems<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*\u00a0A 2 year program is available at the graduate level for qualified applicants intending to pursue the 200 Ton Limited License simultaneously with the M.S. degree in Global Logistics &amp; Maritime Management. <a href=\"http:\/\/ibl.mma.edu\/\">Please contact the graduate school for more information.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Maritime Technology Major<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/undergraduate-catalog\/curricula-maritime-technology\/\">Maritime Technology<\/a>*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Program is for alumni who can demonstrate eligibility.
