Day 32: Wing Night!

Posted on: June 7, 2018

Today the weather was sunny and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Alpha took the watch at 0000 this morning and is currently sailing 270 degrees following our planned route to arrive in Portugal. Work continued on the number 3 MSW pump in the engine room today with Bravo company taking over the project on maintenance. Bravo company also began chipping paint on the bow readying the deck for repainting as well as worked on priming and painting the winches on the bow. Charlie completed their testing in training today and Delta took care of the ships cleaning on utility. After working hard today a group of midshipmen all played corn hole up on the O4 and others socialized on the fantail enjoying the sun and warm weather. Tonight 2 people from each company faced off in a chicken wing eating competition. Congratulations to Charlie Company, our winners of the competition.
