Welcome to Halifax!  After over a week and a half of sailing, as well as a delay in arrival due to weather conditions, we’ve finally made it to the capital of the Maritime Province of Nova Scotia.  Everyone has been more than ready to get off at this point.  Once off the ship, students will spend their time exploring the city, especially seeing the Maritime Museum, the forts, taking in local sights, and taking the opportunity to go on an offshore fishing expedition.  Due to the extenuating circumstances, the Port of Halifax granted us an extra day in our berth, therefore giving an extra day for all to enjoy themselves in port.
