We’re halfway to Halifax.  Both 2/C and 4/C alike are working around the ship, chipping paint, cleaning around the ship, or studying for the upcoming Engine Room Flashlights exam that will be on Training Day 8, which will be just after Halifax.  Everyone is looking forward to tonight, which is the much enjoyed Casino Night, where all will have a chance to “gamble” to win “money” for prizes such as food, electronics, and actual spending money.  It’s also one of the few opportunities for kids to wear civvies while on the ship.  In four days we’ll be docking, and everyone will be able to get out and explore the rich maritime history of Halifax.
