Be the first to see the premier of the <strong>short film <em>GALAXSEA: a voyage into the bioluminescent night<\/em><\/strong>, which will be <strong>projected on the <em>Bowdoin<\/em> sails!*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This event will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Live musical performances by the MMA Jazz Band and the Boston based indie band,\u00a0<em>Hush Club<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Student photo contest submissions will be on display for voting.<\/li>\n<li>Light Hors d&#8217;oeuvres will be served and a cash bar for 21+ will be provided.<\/li>\n<li>MMA and Community tables including the Artic Schooner Bowdoin, International Dark Sky Association, Compass Rose Books, Castine Kayak, and Bagaduce Watershed will be on-site.<\/li>\n<li>Raffle to benefit the International Dark Sky Association and Surfrider Foundation, Maine Chapter.<\/li>\n<li>Silent Auction to raise proceeds for the film.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Join us where the sea meets the stars on the roof of\u00a0<strong>Payson Hall at the MMA Waterfront<\/strong>\u00a0on the evening of\u00a0<strong>Fri., Sept. 23<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0from 6-9pm**<\/strong>. This event is <strong>FREE<\/strong> and open to all MMA Students, Faculty\/Staff, and the Castine Community.\u00a0 Dress for the event will be semi-formal (dress warm pending weather and no high heels please).
