Second day at sea bound for Maine. The seas have laid down a bit and the wind has started to hint at a southwesterly shift, which would be in our favor. However, we do not expect this shift to happen until later tonight and settle in truly until after midnight. We have been trying to work west and not get sucked towards the Bay of Fundy as this will expose us to current that could slow us down and make for choppy seas. We have, however, timed it so the current would be in a relatively favorable direction anyway. There are numerous fishing vessels that are dragging on the banks and even the Queen Mary II is out here. We might have a 3nm closest point of arrival with them, meaning that we will be 3nm away and able to see them. The crew is well and those who have succumbed to seasickness have acclimated. Mary, our esteemed cook, has still been producing amazing meals despite the galley pitching up, down, and side to side. The sun is out and spirits are improving with the weather.<\/p>\n
