Departure day for the ship. We had a good time in Summerside with great hospitality from everyone. The crew got laundry done and even enjoyed an indoor pool and hot tub on their time off!

We scheduled our departure for the afternoon to wait for better wind and weather conditions for our sail north to Havre St Pierre. We set sail as we made our departure from Summerside and followed the Picton Castle out into the Northumberland straits. We sailed in good company with Picton Castle and Alexander Von Houbolt for several hours as we all made our way North. A great SW wind had us sailing fast and enjoying a beautiful day on the water.
