Its mission is to keep MMA graduates connected to the college and to one another, and to inform readers of the academy\u2019s mission-critical initiatives, news, and opportunities for involvement. The magazine serves to strengthen the alumni network and sense of community as a source of information and inspiration.<\/p>\n<p><em>Mariner<\/em> also editorially supports the college\u2019s Advancement Office efforts to build support for MMA, its students and programs. In-depth features, short articles, profiles, photos, and announcements provide avenues for connections between alumni, faculty, parents, and friends of the academy. The magazine is published in June and December and is available online at <a href=\"http:\/\/mariner.mainemaritime.edu\">mariner.mainemaritime.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Shipmate<\/em> is an alumni newsletter designed to complement the <em>Mariner<\/em> Magazine.
