MMA Beautification Project

Would you like to have your name, a family member or other influential person engraved in brick on the Maine Maritime Academy campus while contributing toward a larger campus beautification project?

In July, the Campus Beautification Committee and Advancement are offering 1,244 eight inch by eight inch engraved pavers for $250 each to create a 24 feet by 24 feet pad around the flag pole in front of Leavitt Hall.  Once these are sold, there will be expansion of the brick walkway, with more pavers leading from the Class of 1959 granite steps in front of Leavitt and to the walkway in front of the Alfond Student Center.

The proceeds of the pavers will allow MMA to landscape and re-turf the Leavitt Hall quad while adding additional lighting for the area.  Additional campus beautification projects may include road and sidewalk repaving along with flower garden improvements.

Maine Maritime Academy will be reaching out in July once all the details of the project have been finalized.
