MMA Seniors Craft Sign for Castine Fire & Rescue

Students and alumni have formed the backbone of the Castine Fire Department since 1941. In fact, many alumni chose to become first responders based on their experiences with Castine Fire and Rescue.

Each year, graduating MMA senior fire department members mark their departure by doing a project of their own choosing to benefit the department. Korey Deboth, Lucas Gaddini and Noah Morin-Roy designed and fabricated a new sign as their gift to Castine Fire and Rescue Department.

From left, Assistant Chief Jack Spratt ’93, firefighters Peter Shelton, Noah Morin-Roy, Kevin McDonald, Chris Grindle, Lucas Gaddini, Korey Deboth and Chief Randy Stearns display the spectacular new firehouse sign.
