New Captain for USS Niagara

Capt. Christopher Cusson ’06 will oversee sailing programs, operations and maintenance for the Niagara, a wooden-hulled snow-brig that served as the relief flagship for Oliver Hazard Perry in the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. Cusson, who’s been with the Flagship Niagara League, the non-profit organization that supports the ship, for 10 years, says he looks forward to hiring crew and getting ready for 2019.
