The evening will have a Mardi Gras theme, complete with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statestreettraditionaljazzband.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">State Street Traditional Jazz Band<\/a>, with MMA alumnus John Page \u201966 on trumpet.<\/p>\n<p>The MMA Development Office is soliciting auction items valued at $75 or more for this fundraising event. If you have connections to artisans, restaurants, stores, spas, florists, sport teams, vacation homes, ski packages, sky miles, etc., the Development Office would appreciate your assistance in procuring donations.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bq1\"><p>Proceeds will be awarded as scholarships to students in need of financial aid.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Two weeks following the gala, all proceeds of the auction will be converted to pass-through scholarships and awarded to deserving students in need of financial aid. <a href=\"http:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/support-mma\/a-night-by-the-bay\/\">Click here<\/a>\u00a0for more information on this fundraising event and donating items, or call Sharon Catus: 207-326-2177.
