John Holesha \u201902 Profiled in DVIDS article<\/h1>\n

Chief Mate John Holesha \u201902 is profiled in a Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS) article this past summer. Pictured is Holesha, aboard USNS John Ericsson<\/em> (T-AO 194), watching as the Japanese Self-Defense Force destroyer JS Shiranui<\/em> (DD 120) breaks away after a replenishment at sea. Ericsson<\/em> provides critical supplies to U.S. and partner nations\u2019 navies operating in the Indo-Pacific Region. The fleet replenishment oiler is part of the U.S. Navy\u2019s Combat Logistics force. Ericsson<\/em> recently resupplied several Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ships while operating in the Philippine Sea.<\/p>\n

The DVIDS mission is to provide an accurate, reliable source for media organizations to access U.S. service members and commanders deployed in support of military operations worldwide. It is a state-of-the-art, 24\/7 operation that provides a timely, accurate and reliable connection between the media around the world and the military serving at home and abroad.
