{"id":14,"date":"2014-08-07T15:12:49","date_gmt":"2014-08-07T15:12:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/?page_id=14"},"modified":"2023-04-04T18:24:46","modified_gmt":"2023-04-04T18:24:46","slug":"ways-to-give","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/ways-to-give\/","title":{"rendered":"Ways to Give"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Every Gift Counts<\/h1>\n<p>You may choose from many different ways to contribute to MMA.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can <a title=\"Cash Gifts\" href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/giving-to-mma\/cash-gifts\/\">mail us a check,<\/a> call us with your<a title=\"Cash Gifts\" href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/giving-to-mma\/cash-gifts\/\"> credit card <\/a>information, or <a href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/giving-to-mma\/online-donation\/\">donate online<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>We also accept <a title=\"Gifts of Stock\" href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/giving-to-mma\/gifts-of-stock\/\">gifts of stock<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/ways-to-give\/qualified-charitable-contribution\/\">qualified charitable contributions<\/a>, <a title=\"Gifts of Real Estate\" href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/giving-to-mma\/gifts-of-real-estate\/\">real estate<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/yacht-donation-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">yachts<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Maine Maritime Academy employees can contribute through <a title=\"Payroll Deduction\" href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/giving-to-mma\/payroll-deduction\/\">payroll deductions<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Others may be able to double or even triple the value of their gifts by taking advantage of their employer&#8217;s <a title=\"Matching Gifts\" href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/giving-to-mma\/matching-gifts\/\">matching gift program<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Donors who wish to make a gift through their estate are eligible for membership in <a title=\"Planned Giving\" href=\"https:\/\/mainemaritime.edu\/giving\/giving-to-mma\/planned-giving\/\">The Legacy Society<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>However you choose to participate, please know that your gifts are deeply appreciated and we will steward them with care.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every Gift Counts You may choose from many different ways to contribute to MMA.
