ADVANCED FIRE FIGHTING REVALIDATION (MEMACE-777)
We are offering a 2-hour Advanced Fire Fighting Revalidation Lecture via video teleconference for students needing their Advanced Fire Fighting Revalidation certificate. This lecture is designed to reduce a student’s required time on campus when completing their certification. Students are required to finish the hands-on portions of the course on MMA’s campus before October 31, 2020.
**NOTE: Advanced Firefighting Revalidation and BT Revalidation are taught concurrently. You will receive the training and certificates for both classes within the same training days.
Participants: Minimum 6 / Maximum 20
- This class is for any applicant who presents evidence of 1 year of sea time within the past 5 years.
- Participants must be clean-shaven in order to meet the NFPA regulations for SCBA’s; mustaches are OK.
- Bring an extra set of clothes. You may get dirty and there are no showers available.
This course is only the fire fighting portion of the Basic Training Revalidation components.
Applicants who successfully complete our Advanced Fire Fighting Revalidation course will satisfy the advanced fire-fighting revalidation requirements of 46 CFR 11.201(h) (l) and 11.303(d); and Table A-VI/3 of the STCW Code, as amended 2010 provided he or she has been previously certified per Section A-VI/3 of the STCW Code, as amended 2010.
