Greenville and Stephenson, Virginia \u2013 Albert E. McPherson, 67, passed away suddenly February 10, 2026, at his home. He was born October 27, 1958, in Fort Kent, the son of Ewan and Edith (Hughes) McPherson. Albert was a 1977 graduate of Greenville High School and a 1981 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy. He worked all his life as a Merchant Marine until his retirement two years ago.<\/p>\n
Albert is survived by his three sisters, Molly McPherson, Cindy Owens, and Patricia Whitman and her husband, Burt; five nieces and nephews, Justin Owens, Rory Owens, Amber Whitman, David Whitman, and Kyle Whitman; special uncle, Russell Hughes; special friends, Tom Hooper and Felicia Hart; and many great nieces, greet nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents; brother-in-law, Brett Owens; and his beloved dog, Skippy.<\/p>\n
