Admissions decisions are processed promptly from the time of a complete application.<\/p>\n<p>We also strongly encourage home-schooled students to speak\u00a0with a member of the Admissions Staff so that we can help you construct an application that will best represent you and your current abilities.<\/p>\n<h2>Application Steps<\/h2>\n<div id=\"accordionTop\" class=\"panel-group\">\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"panel-title\"><a class=\"accordion-toggle collapsed\" href=\"#f1\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordionTop\">1 | Start Your Application<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"f1\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p>Submit your application using the Common Application. Once your application is submitted you will receive an email with instructions stating how to activate your application portal. Your TWIC and passport can be obtained prior to your arrival on campus. This plan can be used to cover all MMA costs or to supplement final costs after financial aid. TMS also offers a 10-month plan in coordination with loans for those who want to lower their monthly payments.<\/p>\n<p>As a first-year students, you will receive information directly from TMS. Grades received should be included, too, but if none are available, a narrative assessment of work and growth in each area is encouraged.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"panel-title\"><a class=\"accordion-toggle collapsed\" href=\"#vv2\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion\">Can I submit a GED or HiSET?<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"vv2\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p>Yes, if you have a GED or HiSET we ask that you submit that with your academic portfolio. The General Educational Development (GED) test is a four-subject high school equivalency test which, when passed, certify that the taker has American high-school level academic skills. The four subjects are Science, Social Studies, Mathematical Reasoning, and Reasoning Through Language Arts. After you pass the GED test, your diploma or credential will be issued by your state and you will receive a GED transcript to apply to college, start training, or get a better job. The Cost of Attendance has two different types of costs \u2013 Direct Costs and Indirect Costs. When they are added together, that is your student\u2019s COA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Direct Costs<\/strong> \u2013 These are the fees that you have to pay. These include tuition, room and board (meals), general fees, licensing fees (for those in an unlimited license program), and Regiment uniforms and items (unlimited license programs only).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indirect Costs<\/strong> \u2013 These are variable fees and may or may not be applicable to your student. An example is the laptop fee \u2013 if your student already has a laptop that meets the necessary standard (e.g. operating system, memory, etc.), the laptop fee can be removed from your student\u2019s bill.
