All MMA events have been postponed at this time.
MMA Casco Bay Chapter Meeting/Social – Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Parker’s Restaurant, 1349 Washington Ave in Portland.
This is the first meeting since May, so it will be focused on the Maine Boatbuilders Show planning (our largest fundraiser) and MMA Student Scholarships. If you are in the area and would like to stop by for a minute or more, we would welcome the opportunity to meet all new alumni.
Please join us at the Armory in Manchester, Conn. for an alumni meeting on Thursday, September 20th at 5:30pm. Meeting includes a tour of the armory, hanging out in the fire truck restoration shop and ending at the local pub next door (Main St. Pub) for food, drinks and socializing. If you want to BYOB to the meeting, feel free. The Armory is located at 330 Main Street. Go around back of building to parking lot in the rear. Truck garage on right in parking lot. We hope you can join us.

The Seacoast Chapter invites you to join them at their 17th Annual Seacoast Alumni Scholarship Scramble at the Sanford Country Club. Registration begins at 0800 with an 0900 shotgun start. Form a team or come as a single and we’ll place you on a team with fellow alumni.

This is a premier Seacoast NH event where the Seacoast Chapter has raised over $100,000 toward student scholarships at MMA. We have endowed two scholarships and are working on a third! Come help us meet our goal. Sign up now and ensure you group a spot. This is a no pressure event. Singles welcome and placed on teams with fellow alumni. The Class of 1964 invites classmates, spouses, friends and all MMA alums to join them at a mini muster Friday, September 28 at 1200 hours at DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant. It would make for a great lunch stop on your way north to Homecoming!

Larry Burrill ’77 has been named Honorary Captain for this game, as the Mariners play against Catholic University, whose Honorary Captain is Joe Carlini – a Catholic University alum and Larry’s business partner. Watch as these partners are pitted against one another on the gridiron!
Tailgating begins at 10AM, kick-off time is at noon.
Light fare, cold beverages and great conversation provided.

The Catholic University of America’s tailgating policy states that vehicle access to the tailgating area is via the northern most Hawaii Avenue gate; to park within this area and tailgate, the parking fee is $20 which covers the game ticket charge for those within the car; and the tailgating entrance will open three hours prior to kickoff (to be determined). The ticket entrance is inside the
DuFour Center (off of John McCormack Road).
