There will be a gathering of Washington, DC area maritime academy Alumni on Wednesday, November 15 at 5:30pm at Bluejacket. Bluejacket is a brewery and restaurant near the Navy Yard and Dept. of Transportation with parking nearby and easy access to Metro (Green line, Navy Yard- Ballpark stop).
This will be an informal no-host event to meet and network with other maritime academy alumni. I coordinated with alumni from SUNY, Mass, and Kings Point to put this event together. Richard Balzano (Maine Maritime Academy ’89), the newly appointed Deputy Maritime Administrator, is invited and may address the group.
