Come join other northeast Florida MMA alum Saturday, October 19, 2019 for a fun dolphin and sightseeing boat tour of St. Augustine. This tour starts at 11:30AM and ends at 1:00PM. Register for this tour on line at redboatwatertours.com by October 11th to assure seating. The cost is $24 plus taxes and fees for adults. Their site provides information and directions to the Vilano Beach pier where they pickup and discharge passengers.

These “Up Close” presentations are designed to update alumni on MMA’s current academic offerings and student services, recent facility improvements, and future initiatives. We hope you will join us for one of these dynamic presentations. We begin with a reception at 6 PM followed by the presentation at 7 PM.
On Friday, October 25, join the Sea Dog Chapter for a tour of the new $70 million Coastal Resources of Maine waste-to-energy facility. Located across the street from 92 Harold Bouchard Way on Coldbrook Road in Hampden, this hi-tech facility sorts, recycles, reuses and refines 180,000 tons of municipal trash annually from 115 area municipalities.
Following the tour, muster up at Seasons Restaurant, 427 Main Street in Bangor (Black Bear Room).
Maine Maritime Academy’s annual Academic Achievement Awards banquet is held to honor the scholarly accomplishments of students and the service of faculty.
WHEN: Thursday November 7th, 2019, 1700hrs-2000hrs
WHERE: The Daniel (Function room next to Coast Bar and Bistro) 10 Water Street, Brunswick ME
COST: $35 per person. (The cost covers tax and gratuity and other). Cash Bar Available😊 If you wish to pay by credit card $36.50
The speaker for the meeting will be Nate Gandy (92E), Dean of Maritime Training for Maine Maritime Academy.
The meal will be a choice of 2 entrées and dessert options, buffet style and offers a full cash bar. Remember to bring and extra $5 for the 50/50 raffle. The winner of the raffle gets half the pot and the other half goes to our association’s Scholarship fund.
