CASTINE–The Maine Maritime Academy women’s lacrosse team tied the program record with its ninth win of the season and moved to 9-1 for the first time in school history after doubling up visiting UMaine-Farmington, 16-7, in North Atlantic Conference play at Ritchie Field on Saturday afternoon. Maine Maritime, which also guaranteed a spot in the upcoming NAC Tournament championship game, is now 5-0 in the conference, while the Beavers fall to 2-8 on the season and 1-3 in the NAC.
