I got the Mariner yesterday! Did like the section on the hands-on learning. That was the original reason why I went to
MMA. I was also happy to see one of Westerbeke motors that I learned how to repair. Without the practical knowledge
gained at MMA, my time on several boats as a captain would have been much harder. I don't think I would be where I am
today if not for MMA. I am currently enrolled in the OTHER MMA this fall for a master's degree in facilities management.

CORRECTION to Spring 2012 Issue:
The editor apologizes for inadvertently cutting off Capt. Scott Lund's Time and Tide story on p. 46, "Capt. Scott
Lund '84 & Crew Circumnavigate Globe." The end of the sentence should read: "and GUDE Randy Pacheco."
