Posted on: May 24, 2016

Location: 27° 21.6’ N, 87° 46.6’ W
Weather: Clear         Wind: 14 kts SSE             Seas: 1-3 feet
Alpha: Training          Bravo: Watch           Charlie: Utility       Delta: Maintenance

Today was another day much cooler than we’ve seen recently, making it ideal for working out on deck.  The maintenance company has been touching up the deck on the starboard side, railings up on the 04 deck, and preparing the starboard side of the forward house for paint.  Tonight marks the last day of the current company rotation, as Alpha shifts to maintenance, Bravo begins a utility session, Charlie assumes the watch at midnight, and Delta is first to take their first exams in both deck and engine training.
