What has been your favorite class at MMA?

Small Craft Construction and Small Craft Technology are my favorite classes. Both of these classes are hands-on. I took apart a 4-cylinder engine and built a mini model of a hull of a wooden vessel.

What do you love about the MMA community?

I love how the school molds us into highly respected leaders.

What are your hopes for the future?

I hope to become a Captain, of course! I also hope to be known as one of the best in the field.

Why did you pick MMA?

The V.O.T. program drew me here, but also the school’s reputation. I couldn’t resist the opportunity of moving clear across the nation to study at this school and to become a true mariner.

What would you say to a prospective MMA student?

If you love the water and working as a team, you will succeed. This is a very hands-on school and everyone wants you to succeed. You will work hard and in return gain huge respect. This school has changed my life for the better and I’m so blessed to have the opportunity to study here.
