James L. Campion ’69

James Leonard Campion, 74 years old, of New Haven, Connecticut died on the afternoon of April 28th 2017. Jim was born on January 8th 1943. He was the first-born son of Leonard and Virginia (Daly) Campion and was shortly joined by 11 brothers and sisters. Jim was married to Patricia (Rossi) Campion for 28 years.

Jim held a BS from Maine Maritime Academy, class of 1969, and a BS in accounting from Providence College, class of 1973. He sailed as a deck officer for Gulf Oil, was a  CPA with KPMG and was involved in several small businesses including Campion & Co.

Jim, a spiritual and thoughtful man, loved the ocean, golf, and opera.

Jim is survived by his former wife Patricia and his children Michael, Kevin and Emily (Campion) Crowley and their children.
May our beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend rest in ever-lasting peace.
