Strosahl Named to National Committee

Andrew C. Strosahl, MMA class of 2005 and member of the MMA Alumni Association Board, has been appointed by the Maritime Administration to the Maritime Transportation System National Advisory Committee (MTSNAC). Strosahl, an attorney with The Lawrence Law Firm, PA in South Berwick, is a licensed master mariner of unlimited tonnage, any ocean.

Andrew StrosahlMTSNAC advises the U.S. Secretary of Transportation through the Maritime Administrator on matters relating to U.S. maritime transportation and its seamless integration with other segments of the transportation system, including the viability of the U.S. Merchant Marine. The MTSNAC is comprised of more than 40 leaders from commercial transportation firms, port and water stakeholders, labor, and Federal, state, and local public entities.

Strosahl looks forward to continuing to work with Federal decision makers on maritime matters. “I possess a unique resume with time on Capitol Hill, at sea, and in legal practice,” Strosahl said. “I hope to share my on-deck experience from shipping with the Committee and present it through a legal lens.”

The Lawrence Law Firm, PA is a general practice firm that serves both Maine and New Hampshire. Strosahl’s practice encompasses civil and criminal matters, with expertise in maritime topics and government affairs.
