STATEMENT OF THE JOB

 

Employee performs routine patrol of Academy grounds, buildings, waterfront and other facilities.  Work involves reporting items requiring attention to the proper authorities and insuring that all buildings are properly secured as well as enforcing Academy parking regulations.

 

 

DUTIES OF THE JOB

 

 

1.      Patrols the Academy in a vehicle or on foot.

 

2.      Investigates malfunctions and reports to proper authorities if necessary.

 

3.      Completes daily and/or shift activity report.

 

4.      Identifies building or other maintenance needs and reports to authorities.

 

5.      May plow snow and maintain road access at night while on patrol.

 

6.      Enforces Academy traffic and parking regulations.

 

7.      Assists and provides information to visitors.
