Give Your Boat A Second Chance
For sixty years, Maine Maritime Academy has been sending young men and women to sea. The college benefits enormously from gifts of boats. They are used in the small vessel program, in ocean studies, and for recreation.You can give a boat to Maine Maritime Academy and realize a fair market value tax deduction. You can also be assured the craft will be well cared for.
Maine Maritime Academy works with yacht brokers to acquire and sell boats. Many of the boats are leased while MMA owns them. Others are sold after the college no longer needs them, providing additional income.
