We can’t wait to show you around! You are invited to visit MMA in any of the following ways:

Take a Tour

  • What: Tour MMA’s campus and training ship, the T/S State of Maine. Meet with an admissions counselor and/or financial aid representative.
  • When: Monday – Friday at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. (by appointment) during the academic year.
  • How: Schedule your campus tour in advance, space is limited. No drop ins, please.

Spend a night on campus

  • What: Spend a complimentary night in the residence hall with an MMA student host, attend classes in your area of interest, have a meal in the dining hall, meet with coaches, admissions and/or financial aid representatives.
  • When: Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings, during the academic year.
  • How: Please contact the Admissions Office in advance to schedule an overnight visit, space is limited.

Samantha PeaseAttend an Open House

  • What: Faculty and staff provide presentations about MMA’s academic programs, student life, at-sea and cooperative education opportunities, athletics, careers, and more. You will also tour the waterfront, laboratories, simulators, vessels, and waterfront facilities.
  • When: View the Open House dates and schedule
  • How: This pre-event registration is required. Come see us! Space is limited.

Can’t visit during the school year?

  • Take a Virtual Tour, or view the Waterfront Webcam
  • Meet us on the road
    • Check our calendar for College Fairs, Service Academy Nights, and Special Area Visits.
  • Summer Tours
    • What: Tour MMA’s campus and waterfront facilities, but please note MMA students, faculty, the T/S State of Maine and other MMA vessels will be absent.
    • When: Monday – Friday (except holidays) at 10 a.m. (by appointment). Note: Summer tours are currently all full. We will resume our regular tour schedule in late September and you can check the online calendar for availability in mid-late August.
    • How: Schedule your campus tour in advance, space is limited. No drop ins, please.
