SECOND YEAR STUDENTS at Landing School campus, Kennebunkport, ME.
Overview
- Program prepares highly trained and skilled graduates for the thriving yacht and small craft industry.
- Students attend MMA first year, enrolled in introductory level courses in seamanship, science, math, and general education classes to fulfill Associate of Science degree. The tuition, fees, room and board (if applicable) costs are the same as our other undergraduate programs, depending on residency. Pricing is either in-state or out-of-state, there is no regional price benefit for NH, VT, MA, RI, or CT residents. Residential facilities are available on campus.
- The second year, conducted at the Landing School, Kennebunkport, ME, emphasizes the interface of marine systems with boat design and construction while practicing the actual installation of these systems in a real world setting. The cost of tuition is set by the Landing School. Residential facilities are not available on campus.
- There is a required co-operative work experience between the first and second years.
- Participation in the Regiment of Midshipmen is optional
