Morten Arntzen

Mr Arntzen’s distinguished career in shipping spans more than 40 years.  He currently serves as Executive Chairman of Team Tankers International Limited, a global chemical tanker operator headquartered in Westport, CT and acts as Senior Shipping Industry Advisor to Macquarie Bank of Australia.

Over the years he has acted in a variety of capacities within the shipping industry, including President and CEO of Overseas Shipholding Group from 2004-2013; Chief Executive Officer of American Marine Advisors from 1997-2004; and before that he ran the Global Transportation Group for Chase Manhattan Bank.

In addition, he has substantial board experience, having served as a director of multiple companies, including Chiquita Brands International, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Overseas Shipholding Group, Essar Shipping (India), IM Skaugen (Norway) and TBS Shipping. He is a member of the Advisory Council of American Bureau of Shipping.  Mr. Arntzen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University.
